City Maids requires an adult over the age of 21 be present at the time of the service. Once the cleaning is completed you will be given an approval form to approve the cleaning service.
NON SOLICITATION AGREEMENT
Our cleaning staff has agreed and signed a non solicitation agreement which legally prohibits them from soliciting our customers, for his or her own benefit or for the benefit of a competitor, during and after two years after leaving the company. By using our services you (the customer and representative) agree not to solicit our staff to share their phone numbers and/or e-payment information with the intent to work directly with them.
Our crews are required to wear face covering during each cleaning. We recommend that you provide them with enough space to work and that you keep windows open while our team is there. By using our services, you agree that City Maids and its staff are not responsible or liable for your safety or health in regard to Covid-19 or its variants. It is the customer responsibility to protect themselves and their family and pets. If you have a compromised immune system or are experiencing covid-19 symptoms you may cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance and you will receive a full refund. If you have to cancel your appointment same day or under 24 hours in advance because you are feeling covid-19 symptoms or have tested positive, you will be refunded 50% to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
Our initial set prices do not guarantee that a cleaning will be completed for the price or time you initially booked for. Our prices are based on the minimum requirement for a task and the cleaning may require additional time based on size and condition of the house, apartment or business area. Additional time will be billed at $50 per hour per person or $15 for each 15 minutes. You may choose to set a time limit and provide a list of priorities.
Quality guaranteed: In order for City Maids to guarantee the quality of the cleaning you agree that you are required to inspect and do a walk around of the cleaning once completed. If you find any spots or areas that were not cleaned as expected you may ask our cleaning staff to re-clean a section or sections until you have approved of the quality of the entire cleaning. Our cleaning staff will give you an approval sheet that you will sign only if you are satisfied with the quality of the cleaning. If you are not home or don't have anyone home to check on the cleaning, you automatically waive your right for a re-clean or refund.
If for some reason the cleaning person does not want to redo a section, just send us an email at email@example.com or give us a call at (310) 363-7792 and we'll make sure to send a better cleaning person at no additional cost. Re-cleaning can take 3-5 business days to schedule. Recleaning is a do over of a section of your home or business that was not cleaned properly. It will take 1 to 1.5 hours max at no additional cost.
Parking: It is the customers responsibility to provide parking where street parking is not available within 500 feet from the building or home. In some cases, customers will be charged a parking fee depending on the location of the jobsite.
Pets: By using our service you agree that you the customer or customer representative are responsible to look after your pets and that City Maids or its staff are not responsible for the care or supervision of any pets or animals during the cleaning appointment.

By booking with City Maids, you agree that our staff WILL NOT be subject to any of the following cleaning services or requests:
Window cleaning can only be done to interior and exterior windows that are within reach or on the first floor. If you have windows that are hard to reach or require extensions, scaffold, or ladders longer than a 2 step stool you must contact a company that specializes and is insured in window cleaning. Exterior cleaning can only be done on porch, patio, garage, walk way, and easy to reach windows with the approval of our office. Exterior cleaning of any type is not part of our services unless authorized by our office and requested at the time of scheduling, high ceilings cleaning, collection items cleaning, chandelier cleaning, electronic screen cleaning, human and pet waste cleaning or removal, pest control cleaning or removal, window blinds cleaning (light dusting only), using or disposing biohazard chemicals or materials or devices, asbestos cleaning, medical facilities cleaning, crime scene cleaning, lifting heavy objects (20 lbs. max), and using other than our equipment (ladders, step stools, etc.) Babysitting, dog sitting, entertainment or providing companionship is prohibited for our staff.
Cancellations and lockouts: Your business is very important to us. We understand that there will be a time when an unexpected event will cause you to cancel your appointment. Please contact our office 48 hours prior to your appointment arrival time in order to avoid a late cancellation fee. Late cancellations and lock outs or no shows are non-refundable and are charged at the full amount of your deposit. Lock outs or no-show are when our cleaning staff can't get access into a cleaning site whether it's a home or business because its locked, we don't have the code or key, lock does not work, elevator is broken, or the customer forgot about the appointment.
Payments: We require a pre-authorization or deposit on a credit card in order to confirm service. Credit card transactions will include a convenience fee of 4% or a minimum of $5. All major credit cards are accepted.
Insurance: Every cleaning is covered by our general liability insurance and our bond that protects against worker dishonesty. A conviction is required by our insurance provider in order to rule out fraudulent claims. All claims require valid proof or evidence, police report, investigation and conviction in order to issue a compensation. It is against the law to file a fraudulent claim.
Security: For protection of your personal property, you agree that you are responsible for storing and securing personal valuable property such as jewelry, cash, and electronic devices in a safe and secure place while the cleaning is taking place. You agree not to leave cash or jewelry scattered around your home. If you believe that you have expensive valuables (Watches, jewelry, electronics or cash) adding a combined value over $15,000 please let our office know 48 hours prior to appointment. Failure to disclose will set bond limits to $15,000)
We recommend that you check your valuables and do a walk around prior to signing the approval sheet. If there's an issue please call our office immediately 310 636 7792. It is in our best interest to provide a professional and safe experience.
